Manifesting Confidence

One of the most popular “I can’t do boudoir” excuses I hear is “I just don’t have the confidence.” So I thought I would offer some tips to help manifest those confident feelings you need to bite the bullet.

I could probably have an entire second career as a manifestation coach. I am all about that manifesting life and I give credit for everything that I have and everything I’ve overcome and accomplished to the Secret. I know some people see it as woo woo and that’s okay. If it’s not your cup of tea I hope you find another way that fits you better. But if you are down to try then here is my step by step guide to manifesting confidence.

Step 1 Don’t complicate it.

The simplicity of manifesting is what makes it hard. It’s as if humans love for things to be complicated and difficult. Life does not have to be that way. In fact, the universe wants your life to be easy and to give you everything you’ve ever asked for!

So, don’t complicate this. Take the steps just as they are and simply TRY.

Step 2 Get a Fake Identity

If you’re thinking I’ve lost my shit, you’re probably right. But, this is for real. You need to put yourself into the shoes of future you and start behaving and making decisions as that new person. Is your big dream to be a big time movie director? Then ACT LIKE IT!! Embody how you would feel after you have accomplished this goal. Think about what your day to day life would be like. What would you do? Who would you spend time with? Where would you hang out? How would you speak?

Specifically in a boudoir confidence scenario, how do you imagine a woman who is DTB (down to boudoir) would carry herself, speak to others and speak to herself? She wouldn’t be looking in the mirror pinching her love handles, would she?

As you learn to be more aware of your thoughts and catch yourself in a negative thought patterns, steer yourself back to the DTB babe’s attitude and talk to yourself as if you are already her.

Step 3 Fake it ‘till You Make It

Spend as much time as you can living in a DTB babe’s reality.

When you look in the mirror you floof your hair and say yourself “You look hot, babe! Now go out there and kick some ass.!”

When you see lingerie you like, you buy it because you KNOW you feel confident when you wear it. It’s that KNOWING that’s the key. Feel that as much as possible, even if it’s not genuine.

Tell people you are SO EXCITED ABOUT YOUR BOUDOIR SHOOT, even if you don’t feel excited. Build it up to others and you will build it up to yourself as well.

Look in the mirror and pretend you already have the confidence. Practice confidence. It’s called practice because you don’t have to be perfect, you just have to be consistent and bring yourself back to this mindset when you fall away from it, and you will fall away. That’s okay.

Step 4 Meditate

Every day, as soon as you get up, and before you check your phone spend 10 meditating. Try this one!

Step 5 Affirmations

Repeat these affirmations for 5 minutes in the morning, afternoon & evening.

“I breath in confidence and breath out fear!”

“I believe in myself!”

“I am beautiful inside and out!”

I find them to be most effective if I repeat each affirmation over and over until satisfied before I move on to the next one. I also find that saying the affirmations with different types of inflection and emphasis on different words helps me stay focused on what I’m saying instead of mindlessly repeating the same thing while thinking about something else.

Spend 30 days adopting this practice and I promise you, you feel like a whole new person. It is literally that simple.
